Sometimes the new language of design makes me feel really old. Did you know, for example, that “green light" does not refer to a traffic signal? It means being ecologically correct at home. You know, at first I didn't realize why it was important that House & Home magazine devote an entire issue to being “green”. Of course now I know it's very important. But what about the way it looks?
