My decorating style has contributed to the demise of more than one relationship. I can still hear the comments, "Will this ever be finished?", "You're forever moving furniture! Can't you leave it alone?” or, "Why doesn't anything match?" or, "Can it ever be done and decorated?" I know what they were talking about, but I like rooms that are moveable feasts. I like things to be thrown in casually but to look great. I like things to be uncontrived and spontaneous and I'm seeing more and more of that now. It seems to be a look, maybe even a style. Could what I call 'undecorated' now be a style?
