Just last weekend, I visited my friend Brenda at her newly renovated vacation home which was beautiful. Of course I asked the question "Who helped you?" because I assumed it had been professionally done and when Brenda told me that she did it herself, I couldn't believe it — I was stunned. I wonder why I asked the question? I guess because I think it must take a professional eye to get that look, but it didn't. It could have been a disaster.
