This is a true story and maybe I should be embarrassed. I was at a cocktail party and a woman was talking about her theft. She had her room stolen: her fridge, her stove, her limestone top dining table, her sofa, her chairs, her floor lamps — all taken in the middle of the night. I'm listening to this and I say, "Well, didn't you hear anything?" and she says, "Well, no, it was my outdoor room that was stolen." I seemed to be the only person who didn't get it. So where have I been? Are we that serious about what's going on outside?
