Reverse Martini Recipe
Less gin and more vermouth make for a refreshing cocktail. Watch an easy how-to video on our Online TV show.
Serves: 2
Ingredients:
3 oz. white vermouth
1 oz. gin
Brandied onions or lemon peel

Instructions:
Step 1: Combine vermouth and gin in a shaker filled with ice.
Step 2: Shake vigourously and strain into 2 glasses. Garnish.

Just a tip: I used to bartend and the whole purpose of a zest is to extrac the flavored oils of the peel so it gives this very nice smell to any drinks. A real and better way to make a zest is to cut the peel with a paring knife, avoid the white part, then fold it in two with the colorful side pointing towards the inside of the glass and then squeeze. Usually this is done before pouring the martini. Try it, you'll see how aromatic it is. No need to buy flavored vodkas anymore... You can also use a peeler if you prefer.
