Pure Joy Almond Brownies Recipe

Recipe:

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Step 2: Grease a 13″ x 9″ baking pan, and set aside.

Step 3: Place all of the jar ingredients in a medium-sized bowl, and stir until well combined. Set aside.

Step 4: Place the butter and eggs in a large bowl, and blend well with a spoon.

Step 5: Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, and stir until well combined.

Step 6: Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are light brown in colour.

Step 7: Cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars. Serve immediately, or store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.

Jar Ingredients
From top to bottom:
3/4 cup coarsely chopped almonds
1 cup sweetened flaked coconut, lightly tossed with 1 tsp almond extract
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour

In addition to the contents of the jar, you will need to add the following ingredients:
3/4 cup melted butter, slightly cooled
4 eggs
